Welcome to my site!
I'm so glad you're here! This website will teach you a little more about me, as a journalist and as a person. Below you will find a brief description of myself as well as a list of some recent work, spanning three different publications I have been involved with. At the top, you will find a menu that can lead you through some other pages, focused on my profile (education, employment, etc.) and my contact. Enjoy!

- Charlotte
The stories above come from multiple publications:
The Ball State Daily News, The Geauga County Maple Leaf, HER Campus and Ideastream Public Media
The Daily News has given me experience within the Opinion Section, where I have worked as both a writer and an editor. I have learned about thesis writing, from finding the topic to developing a full angle and argument with my own stories, as well as helping my writers do the same.
The Maple Leaf is a newspaper based outside of Cleveland, where I interned for the Summer following my Freshman year of undergrad at Ball State. This job allowed me to learn about local news and interview local figures such as trustees and group presidents.
HER Campus is a fashion and pop culture magazine with chapters all around the country. I write for Ball State's chapter, which I have adored. Getting to explore fashion journalism has been a blend of my two loves: the news world and the fashion world.
Ideastream Public Media is Cleveland's very own PBS and NPR membership station, where I worked as the broadcast news intern for the Summer following my Sophomore year of undergrad at Ball State. I was given experience in the radio station behind the mic and for field reporting in front of the camera, allowing me to take another step toward my dream career in TV journalism as an anchor or reporter. Over 200 people applied for my position at Ideastream, and I was extremely honored to have been selected for such a busy station internship in the heart of Cleveland.
