The stories above come from multiple publications:
The Ball State Daily News, The Geauga County Maple Leaf, and HER Campus
The Daily News has given me experience writing within the Opinion Section, where I hold the title as the Associate Editor. I have learned about thesis writing, from finding the topic to developing a full angle and argument with my own stories, as well as helping my writers do the same.
The Maple Leaf is a newspaper based outside of Cleveland, where I interned for the Summer following my Freshman year of undergrad at Ball State. This job allowed me to learn about local news and interview local figures such as trustees and group presidents.
HER Campus is a fashion and pop culture magazine with chapters all around the country. I write for Ball State's chapter, which I have adored. Getting to explore fashion journalism has been a blend of my two loves: the news world and the fashion world.
